Steven A. Grinsted, MPT Steve graduated
in 1999 from the University of Delaware with a Masters
degree in Physical Therapy (MPT). He also possesses a Bachelor of
Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Hofstra University. Steve is
the founder of AXIS PT and has been involved in the rehabilitation field
since 1989. He has practiced Physical Therapy in Los Angeles for over
12 years and in Downtown Los Angeles for 10 years. Steve specializes in
outpatient orthopedic care, manual therapy, sports physical therapy and
biomechanical analysis. Steve’s experience includes strength and
conditioning, cardiac rehabilitation and exercise prescription for all
patient populations. He has participated in a number of educational
seminars and continues to share and advance his expertise in the field of
Physical Therapy. Steve also serves as a clinical instructor/mentor for
physical therapy students nationwide. He participates in many outdoor
sports including; mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, roller hockey and
golf. |

Lori
M. Parchman, DPT, OCS Lori graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2009 with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT). She achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine in 2006 at California Lutheran University. Lori completed the Kaiser Permanente Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency program in 2010, further improving her manual and movement analysis skills. The majority of her experience lies in outpatient orthopedics. Lori has also participated in research focused on balance assessment in the elderly population and assessing orthopedic manual techniques (hip mobilization) for addressing low back pain. She regularly participates in continuing education courses to further develop her expertise in movement analysis and performance. In her spare time, Lori enjoys traveling and being outdoors!

Adam Schultz,
MPT, OCS, M Manip Ther Adam
graduated in 1997 from Ithaca College with a Master of Science in Physical
Therapy. He has also achieved a Master of Manipulative Therapy from Curtin
University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia. Adam is also an adjunct
faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Mount Saint
Mary’s College. Gabrielle Spence,
DPT Gabrielle
graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2011 with a Doctorate degree in
Physical Therapy. She has also achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise
Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2007. Gabrielle has a
love for orthopedics and sports physical therapy, but has also completed a
variety of clinical experiences in the areas of Women’s Health,
In-patient/Acute care, and Pilates-based rehabilitation. She enjoys incorporating aspects from each
of these areas in this outpatient orthopedics setting. Gabrielle has also
participated in research focused on ethics in physical therapy and has
frequently provided pro-bono physical therapy services. She continues to
enhance her knowledge in orthopedics by attending continuing education classes.
Gabrielle played basketball at California State University, Long Beach and
continues to have a love for basketball. In her spare time, Gabrielle loves
to travel and enjoys running.
Cynthia Vazquez, CMB
Cynthia has 16 years of experience in outpatient Physical Therapy as a General Manager/ Office Manager. She graduated from Bryman College in 2006 with a certificate in Medical Billing/ Coding. Cynthia also has 2 certificates in Medical Billing (1999 & 2003) from Santa Monica College and is HIPAA certified to better protect the privacy of patients. |
